Field Service - Automation Systems Engineer - Akron Ohio - JOB 23-00829Salary Range 65K - 85K Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area Company is seeking a Field Service - Automation Systems Engineer. The Field Service - Automation Systems Engineer will Engineer Test Commission and Support companies Measurement and Control Systems.Requirements BSEE or equivalent relevant work experience. Two years minimum of hands-on experience automation systems for industrial process control. Must be proficient at programming including PLC HMI Visual Basic.NET C . Must be proficient with computers (Hardware software peripherals) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings Must have experience with SQL databases Must be mechanically inclined Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) experienced. Good multitasking and organizational skills Must be good at working independently. Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally. (30% travel) Duties Programming systems PLC s & HMI s Electrical design & documentation Setup and configure drives Test and debug equipment prior to shipment Support start-up and commissioning systems at customer facilities. On site field service and customer training In house technical support Troubleshooting diagnose and repair Customer follow up Prepare and update documentation as necessary. Support after hours Customer Support pager rotation Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
