Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. Clean and disinfect kitchen equipment and utensils. Properly handle kitchen waste. Ensure an adequate supply of ingredients and supplies. Keep track of inventory and notify supervisors when supplies are running low. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards including safe food handling and storage. Comply with all health and safety regulations and kitchen policies. Requirements and qualification Secondary school education is usually required. On-the-job training is provided.
