Today we offer the best freight services across Canada and US from east coast to west coast with skilled personnel who have decades of experience utilizing the latest communication tracking and processing software Job Duties Oversee daily shipping and trucking requirements Plan trucking schedules and ensure all delivery deadlines are met Coordinate shipments by communicating between shippers and senders Ensure all logistic arrangement within the timeline Schedule packing and logistic requirements according to shipment schedule Track shipments and communicate with carriers and customers about the status of their goods Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading invoices and customs forms ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate Managing the budget for logistics and identifying opportunities to reduce costs May negotiate rates with carriers and work to optimize shipping routes to minimize costs Qualifications A college diploma in business commerce supply chain management logistics or a related field is required Minimum one year of experience in logistics supply chain management transportation or operations management or working in a relevant role Have excellent attention to detail to ensure that shipments are delivered on time documentation is accurate Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently and in a team environment To apply this position please send your resume to hr_brookstl(at)outlook.com
