Position CarpenterWage CAD 30.00 hourTypes Full-time PermanentWorking hours 30 40 hours weekBenefits 4% of vacation pay Job Duties Interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine specifications and requirements Measure and prepare layout details in compliance with building codes Take measurements calculate the size and amount of material needed based on measurements Cut shape smooth assemble and join wood and other materials according to measurements Measure frames fit and install cabinets closets doors baseboards and floor etc. Maintain repair and renovate wooden structures of residential and commercial properties Supervise apprentices and other staff. Job Requirements Completion of secondary school Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over 4 years of work experience in the trade and some high school college or industry courses in carpentry.
