The Mondial QV Cabriolet model was produced between 1983 and 1985 with a small production run of 629 units worldwide. Powered by a 3.0-liter V8 engine rated at 240 hp with 4 valves per cylinder. The 4-seat mid-engine Ferrari is equipped with a gated 5-speed manual transmission air conditioning power brakes power steering and power windows. It was Ferrari s first effort at building a car suitable for markets throughout the world. The Mondial was good for 140 mph-plus and its ride quality and comfort scored over long distances. Considerably roomier than previous Ferrari 2 2s the Pininfarina-styled Mondial has been described by Car magazine as the closest you ll get to supercar family transport.
