Sushi is a focal point of the menu with a good selection of nigiri and sashimi crafted from fish flown in from Japan as well as a selection of rolls including a taco-shaped open roll . The non-sushi options are also impeccably presented with highlights like a generous heap of wagyu beef tartare served with taro chips bowls of ramen and tobiko bibimbap topped with diced sashimi and plates of crispy chicken katsu. The restaurant is open daily for lunch dinner and happy hour. Ryuko is looking for an experienced line cook to fill out team members on a full-time permanent basis. Job DescriptionPrepares items for broiling grilling frying sauteing or other cooking methods by portioning battering breading seasoning and or marinating. Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth operation at all times. Monitors product freshness and rotate out old product properly. Ensures kitchen all food preparation areas and food storage areas comply with clean and sanitary standards. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Wage 17.00 hr This position is Full-time permanent position. Requirement High school graduation required. 7months to less than 1year work experience required as a line cook or cook.
