Texila American University has received Accreditation from the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM), Ireland for a period of six (6) years. The accreditation applies to the MD program offered by the University. The United States Department of Education recognizes ACCM as using accreditation standards comparable to the accrediting body for medical schools in the United States. ACCM is one of the few accrediting bodies that has been fully recognized by The World Federation for Medical Education and has been in operation for nearly 25 years, making it the oldest accrediting body operating in the Caribbean.
