We all die once

Hebrews 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment. (Each person is destined to live here on earth once then die once and then be judged. To put it another way we all have an expiration date). [2 Samuel 14 14 Ecclesiastes 3 2]2 Corinthians 5 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body according to that he hath done whether it be good or bad. (We will all stand before Christ to be judged fairly according to what is written in the book of life. He will judge us for the good or evil we have done in these flesh bodies (eternal life or eternal death). He doesn t discriminate we get exactly what we deserve Acts 10 34. It is very clear we must all make a decision in this life follow God and His ways or Satan and his evil ways). [Ecclesiastes 12 14 Romans 6 12-13 Romans 14 10 and 12 Revelation 20 12 20 13 22 12].[Question] Why do so many go to so much trouble to deny God and accountability to Him when they claim to think He doesn t exist in the first place Hmm Part if not all of that motivation mentioned above is many just don t want to be held accountable for the way they live their flesh lives now. Basically their denial confirms that they sense what is coming and don t like that feeling the eventual judgment and accountability to Him. Deep down they know it is inevitable but deny that accountability so they can continue living their lives as if God doesn t exist their fleshly lusts are more important. They also want the approval of others concerning those fleshly lusts. Again deep down they seek and in some cases demand the approval of others (through mans laws etc.) just so they don t feel so bad inside. But does it really matter what another human thinks of your earthly behavior Not at all. As stated in the verses above we all must stand (alone) before Christ and be judged good or bad. Some choose to believe that God and an afterlife exist (believers). Some choose not to believe there is a God or an afterlife (unbelievers) they believe all are just dead nothing exists after this life. In this last instance all are in the same boat regardless of what they believe if it were true. But if there is a God and an afterlife then the believers have made a much better choice not the unbelievers. Which one is the better choice in your opinion I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn t than live my life as if there isn t and die to find out there is. (Again which is the better choice It is totally up to you). Study the Bible like your soul depended on it. You do have a soul. Didn t you know that Will it be temporary (finite) or eternal (everlasting) See Matthew 10 28. Food for thought If you want the answer in one sentence here it is What happens after you die depends on what happens before you die. Reread above what the Bible says in Hebrews 9 27 and 2 Corinthians 5 10. Death and judgment are appointments no one will miss no one. As someone has noted the statistics on death are appalling. One hundred out of one hundred people will eventually die. We are all terminally ill with a disease called death we just don t know when the end will come. Keep studying your Bibles seek Him.
