Vansmit Limited is looking for full-time Concrete Forms Carpenters at 268 Patillo Rd Tecumseh ON N8N 2L9 Canada. There are 5 position available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations install floor beams lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems as detailed on the approved working drawings Fit and install trim items such as doors stairs moulding and hardware Maintain repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills mines hospitals industrial plants and other establishments Hours of work are 40-44 hours per week Monday to Friday half a day on Saturdays. Overtime pay after 44 hours. Pay is 30.10 per hour. Successful candidates must speak English. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.
