He blots them out

He remembers them no more This is a KJV Bible study guide. Isaiah 43 25 I even I am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake and will not remember thy sins. [God doesn t remember your sins for His own sake after you truly repent see Psalm 145 18 in a KJV Bible. He doesn t want to hear about them again and again. He forgives and then forgets a really good example for us humans (forgive and forget)]. Acts 3 19 Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. [Do you want any of your sins to still be on the books when you stand before Christ I certainly hope not. Therefore repent get back on track]. Hebrews 8 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [If one truly repents God blots out those sins. He doesn t remember them anymore which means He doesn t want to hear about them anymore. He blotted them out]. Hebrews 6 6 If they shall fall away to renew them again unto repentance seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame. [When one falls away (sins after being saved) you just need to repent to our Heavenly Father and move on. Who messed up you or Christ You did of course. You are still saved and a new creature in Christ. You don t have to be saved again in effect re-crucifying Christ. By the way this whole 6th chapter of Hebrews is important and worth diligent study time]. 2 Corinthians 5 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body according to that he hath done whether it be good or bad. [We get exactly what we deserve. We either account for sin not repented of or receive reward for our good works. We reap what we sow]. These above verses reveal some of the beauty of true Christianity. When one truly repents their sins are blotted out and not remembered they have a clean slate no more burdensome load of sin. I often wonder why some people keep bringing up our past sins that have been forgiven and forgotten by God Do they get pleasure over bringing up our past mistakes this includes many so-called Christians I think so in some cases. Can a person lose their salvation Is continued forgiveness conditional Is it a good idea not to forgive others after being saved In other words can forgiveness be lost by being unmerciful to others including yourself (refusing to forgive them not being merciful) Some say you can t lose your forgiveness (salvation). Hopefully the following verses will shed some light on this topic. Please read this parable completely Matthew 18 21-35 (verses 34 and 35 are very important). When I study this it seems very clear to me that one can definitely lose their salvation. [If God can forgive you for the sins you have committed why can t you do as He does and forgive someone else including yourself I believe our attitudes and actions need to mirror God s as close as possible. If not we may lose our forgiveness. I believe these verses are talking about what we must do after we have been forgiven. The salvation is still there Jesus didn t make a mistake the unmerciful servant made a mistake. Truly repent and get back on track (Revelation 2 5). When a person chooses not to forgive another what have they done They have not done as God tells us to do in Matthew 6 14-15 that is called disobedience. Does God want an unforgiving disobedient person in His presence Might be something to research. Food for thought Some find it hard to forgive themselves. Why God can and does forgive you. Are your standards higher than His I don t think so]. What could possibly be one reason for not forgiving others Matthew 7 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother s eye but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye [Some believe they are better than others maybe they can t see their own faults. Are they any better than others Read the following verse for your answer]. Romans 3 23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God [Is anyone excluded in this verse The answer is no We are all in the same boat].
