Senior Specialist Systems Engineering

SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Specialist Systems Engineering for its aerospace systems client in Fort Wayne IN. This person will have extensive knowledge of all stages of the systems engineering process have significant hands-on expertise in the design and testing of complex systems and will be at ease leading groups of technical personnel. This position will support company and customer weather and missile warning defense operations through the design build integration test and delivery of space-based remote sensing systems. SECRET security clearance required. RESPONSIBILITIES Support requirements analysis deconstruction and generation at multiple systems levels as well as operation development. Facilitate the development of test strategies that address requirements and the traceability of those requirements. Aid engineering staff in the development of technical specifications interface control documentation test plans and processes and testing of conformity to specifications. Review and present work to interdisciplinary team members and to internal external clients. Assist in the integration and testing of hardware and software necessary for electro-optical and infrared systems. Support modeling simulation and data analysis. QUALIFICATIONS A technical-related bachelor s degree (Mechanical Electrical Optical etc.) required MS or PhD degree preferred. Ability to obtain DoD security clearance required. Eight (8) years relevant experience required. Project management cost management schedules management and mentoring experience preferred. Proven knowledge and experience in creating and managing requirements at different system levels and flowing requirements down to both sub-systems and sub-components.
