If you choose not to study the entire Bible how will you know anything about what you say you believe in How can you make sound decisions when you only allow a very small part of the truth into your mind The answer is you can t not without the whole truth. God s Word provides answers to the problems that we all face [if] you seek the answers. It is very important to make yourself familiar with all of God s Word on your own. It is impossible to learn what is in God s Word a few verses at a time. Ask yourself why only a few verses once a week who wants me uninformed and easily deceived Once you start studying the entire Bible yourself you can answer those questions. Grow nearer to God by studying all of His Word and through prayer. Open up that line of communication to Him. The power of prayer is truly awesome. Seek and you shall find [Jeremiah 29 13 Matthew 7 7 Luke 11 9] don t be lazy do you want wisdom and knowledge [Ephesians 1 17] Try it you ll like it. But remember you must obey Him. He tells you that in many places and in many ways. It might be time to be weaned off of milk [Isaiah 28 9-10 13-14] and get into the meat of God s word. Hebrews 5 11-14 quit being just a babe in God s Word. Some will never get beyond the milk stage of the word. 1 Corinthians 3 2. Ask God for wisdom (James 1 5). Hebrews 5 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God and are become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat.[You have been believers so long that you should be teaching others but you need someone to take you back to the basic teachings of the Word. (I Corinthians 13 11 14 20 Ephesians 4 14)Hebrews 5 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.[Solid food (in depth truth of the Word) is for those who are of full age mature those who don t want to be deceived and through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. It s called discerning the truth. (I Timothy 4 6-7 (I Corinthians 2 14-15 Philippians 1 9-10 I Thessalonians 5 21). Test everything that is said to be sure it is true. Check it out with the Word and stay focused on what is good].Crave the sincere spiritual milk so you can grow into the meat of the Word and obtain a full experience of salvation. See 1 Peter 2 2. Again why did Christ speak in parables Read the following verses. (Matthew 13 10-11 13-14 KJV)10 And the disciples came and said unto him Why speakest thou unto them in parables [They were asking Jesus Why don t you just tell them what you mean] 11 He answered and said unto them Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven but to them it is not given. [For some God gives them the ability to understand the mysteries of the Kingdom (eyes to see and ears to hear) and some are not given the ability to understand those mysteries. Why Something to research and meditate on].13 Therefore speak I to them in parables because they seeing see not and hearing they hear not neither do they understand. (Isaiah 6 8-10). [Some are just not able to see hear or understand the mysteries of the Kingdom].14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias which saith By hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand and seeing ye shall see and shall not perceive [You will never understand the mysteries of the Kingdom if you do not show interest or search for the truth in His word].Understanding is not meant for everyone. Have you witnessed any signs of this famine Do you hear all 31 102 verses of God s Word where you go on Sundays More than likely not thus the famine. How can you know the word of God yourself if you trust others to spoon feed it to you a couple of verses at a time each week You ll only be fed what they want you to know just like news outlets of today. Think about that Are you satisfied with that If not study the Bible yourself completely and don t allow yourself to be in the group that knows so little about God s word. Psalm 63 1 119 131 Ezekiel 36 29-30 [when you study all of God s Word there is no famine Daniel 12 4]. Seek Him Jeremiah 29 13 Amos 5 4 Matthew 7 7 Luke 11 9. What happens to those who don t seek Him The opposite they don t find Him. Proverbs 26 9 As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard so is a parable in the mouth of fools. (When a person is completely drunk they are not usually able to feel any pain from a thorn jabbed into their hand their mind simply cannot feel the pain. That is the way a parable in the mouth of a fool is completely unable to be used with any understanding. In both cases the drunk and the fool are numb to the truth of what is happening).
