Assistant Electrician - Cleveland Ohio - JOB 22-00714Salary Range 20.00 - 25.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Cleveland Ohio area construction company is seeking to hire an Assistant Commercial Electrician.REQUIREMENTSHigh School graduate Must have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation and open to 50% travel ( Dayton Columbus Cincinnati Toledo ) with up to 3 days overnight Must have basic hand tools and be able to climb ladders Should have past experience assisting with commercial electrical wiring installing and repairing electrical wiring equipment and machinery in businesses such as offices stores factories manufacturing plants and warehouses Inspecting electrical systems for defects performing electrical tests to ensure that systems are safe and working properly Troubleshooting electrical problems in order to identify their causes and fix them Installing electrical wiring and equipment in new buildings to meet state and local regulations regarding safety and fire codes Maintaining electrical systems by replacing worn parts repairing damage caused by wear and tear and performing routine maintenance checks for efficiency Inspecting electrical equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and safely Repairing electrical equipment such as motors transformers switchboards fuses wiring and control boxes Following safety regulations and best practices when working with electrical equipment and tools Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
