NEW HIGHER SALARY 58 294 - 102 015 The ChallengeWe re looking for a Senior Utilities Engineer to join our Raleigh HQ team. In this role you willProvide engineering support and decisions on projects assigned to the region. Manage utilities relocation schedules in conjunction with our Senior Utilities Coordinator. Manage projects and engineering resources supporting engineering design activities and schedules for NCDOT projects. Make technical recommendations and represent our Regional Utilities Manager and Regional Utilities Engineer in presenting recommendations. Perform reviews of the Utility Analysis and Routing Reports utility relocation plans and special provisions project estimates and cost responsibility determinations. Provide technical support and makes recommendations in the continued support of NCDOT during project construction. What You BringExperience developing relocation strategies designing reviewing or providing engineering support for construction of utilities (water sewer electric power gas or telecommunications). Experience communicating technical information verbally and in writing to a range of partners team members or stakeholders. Demonstrated ability collaborating on technical matters with other engineers technical staff and multidisciplinary team members. Computer skills in CADD and Microsoft Office to access and manipulate data applications documents and design plans. Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in engineering and 3 years of relevant experience or An equivalent combination of training and experience.
