Job Duties Plan organize and manage daily purchasing activities supervising staff and allocating tasks Ensure that all procured items meet the Thinka s required quality standards and specifications Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures and control budget Maintain knowledge of the market in addition to current prices and fair rates of goods Prepare cost estimates and identify opportunities for cost-savings Develops leads and maintains effective relationships with suppliers Manage the supplier database purchase records and related documentation Negotiate or oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts Present purchasing updates to upper management and cross-functional teams as required Hire and train new staff in the purchasing process Qualifications At least a bachelor s degree in business administration commerce economics or other related fields higher education credential is preferred.
