The PeopleReady located at Elmira New York 14901 is currently hiring a PR 1342358 Project Estimation Administrator Job Description Project Estimation Administrator PeopleReady ofElmira NY is now hiring Project Estimation Administrators Seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with construction knowledge to assist our Project Management and Estimation teams with their daily activities. The work duties include but are not limited to assisting our estimation department with bid preparation per bid specifications ordering and distributing construction drawings and specifications ordering bonds and insurance certificates sending out and following up on vendor and subcontractor bid solicitations processing contracts change orders RFI S submittals assisting with project setup and maintenance of project records including but not limited to subcontractor attachments project logs assorted project templates collecting logging and assembling all project close-out documents. The ability to sign upforjobs right from our mobile app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 21 - 25 hour What you ll be doing as a Project Estimation Administrator General Work Duties The work duties include but are not limited to the following Attend weekly management meeting (every Wed. 6 a.m.). Take minutes and update notes Email Job Log to company employees weekly Maintain paper and ink supply for large scale printer. Report meter reads monthly to printer company. Assist in maintaining company website Assist in maintaining company slide show Assisting with various office duties as needed. Maintain supply of Jobsite paperwork order when required Administrator Duties as they relate to the estimating department are as follows Assist our estimation department with administrative and clerical support for bid preparation per bid specifications. Maintain online plan rooms. i.e. CDC DODGE STBA On Line Plan Service etc.. Distribute (email) plan room jobs out for bid daily to key personnel Download bid documents for review Order bid documents Scan bid documents if electronic documents are not available from other sources Fill out bid forms and delivery envelope Note location date and time of bid and give this information to Jessica Edger for bid runner Fill out Bond and Insurance Forms including information on retainage start and completion dates and value of project. Send bid bond request to bonding company Email bid results to Edger Inc. employees. Including bonding company when applicable Once status of project is known arrange to return or dispose of documents. File job folders on unsuccessful bids Contact subcontractors and suppliers prior to bids to see if they will be bidding projects as required Administrator Duties as they relate to the project management department are as follows Project Setup Create Job Folder on Server Obtain Job Number Order Bonds if required Create Submittal Log Assist PM in obtaining permits Coordinate Tax documents if tax exempt Projects in Progress Issue contracts to subcontractors Issue PO s Issue Official Change orders Upload submittals to Architect owner Upload RFI s Upload Change orders Issue Executed RFI s submittals Change orders and send to appropriate parties Maintain submittal logs Assist PM in sending out submittal reminders Coordinate issued contracts with Certificates of Insurance from subcontractors Assist in AIA billing Project Close Review specifications and pass along requirements to subcontractors throughout project Create organize and issue O& M manuals Work with PM to create As-Built Drawings Obtain consent of Surety for project closeout General Duties and Responsibilities Maintain friendly cooperative relations with customers company personnel and management Perform other tasks or assignments as delegated by vice president of operations Demonstrate the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations Available shifts Shift Timings All available Job requirements Work independently and be able to handle multiple tasks assigned to assist both departments while being able to prioritize this work load.
