Veterinary assistant

1 doctor small animal practice in Penn Hills looking for a veterinary assistant with schooling experience to fill a part-time position (approximately 30hrs wk). Should live close reasonable driving distance and have reliable transportation for a Mon-Sat schedule. Duties include but not limited to reception phone scheduling laboratory procedures assisting with exams restraint nail trims ear cleaning client education patient admittance discharge surgical prep anesthesia monitoring and recovery dental prophylaxis administer medications vaccinations venipuncture Restocking inventory maintain general cleanliness of clinic.
