We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Coordinator in Conflict-Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center Expansion (CFEEC IA) Project. This position will provide support to the CFEEC IA Project in NYC. This is an office-based position that is temporarily remote in the state of New York. This position reports to the Supervisor Training CFEEC IA.About the New York Independent Assessor (NYIA)The New York Independent Assessor (NYIA) is a program for New York State Medicaid consumers who want to receive community-based long term care services and supports. A NYIA nurse meets with these individuals to assess how their care needs affect their daily lives. The results of this assessment determine whether these individuals qualify for these services under their Medicaid coverage. Maximus administers this program for the State of New York. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design develop and implement training materials Develop training schedules (in coordination with other managers and WFM staff) based on the evaluation of the need for new staff and subcontractor personnel Facilitate and deliver classroom-style training on an initial and ongoing basis Ensure that program staff are provided with updated knowledge of the Medicaid Provide administrative support to training classes and team members including class rosters attendance sheets assessments test logs evaluations etc. Community Based Long-Term Care Programs community resources and options for clients Conduct role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g. teamwork and conflict management) Communicate operating policies and procedures that are in compliance with the contractual agreement Assess the impact of each training course on staff performance and contributes to training material development and updates Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of Call Center Operations or Training experience Skillful in navigating through current and new methods of technology to collaborate with colleagues and deliver training Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design teaching and instruction for individuals and groups and the measurement of training effects Adept at speaking effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of people Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point Excel Word and Outlook) Preferred Experience 1 year of direct training experience in a human services environment and or with instructional design and development 1 year of CFEEC Project Experience Hands on experience with e-learning platforms Direct experience utilizing Zoom and or Microsoft Teams for training Home Office Requirements Candidates must have their own cell phone Maximus provides company-issued computer equipment Reliable high-speed internet service (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net) Minimum 100 Mpbs download speeds Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds
