1957 MG Magnette ZB with Manual Gearbox MG s Last True Sports Sedan This 1957 MG Magnette ZB is a highly original car with a desirable manual transmission. Black with tan interior. The Magnette was MG s first unitary-construction car. The sporty saloon was one of the fastest 1.5 litre saloons on the market at the time and it also had the excellent handling to go with it topped off with a luxurious interior. In 1956 the Magnette was given a slight makeover and the ZB model was introduced with a higher compression ratio. This together with twin carburettors improved the power output and top speed. This particular car has the much preferred manual gearbox. With some effort this 1956 MG Magnette ZB would be the perfect weekend driver to display at classic car shows.
