Job descriptionMeat processing company in the City of Industry hiring Quality Control Techs for their 2nd shift.The position is for 2nd shift.Hours will be 2 30-11pm with possible overtime & weekend workDuties and Responsibilities Fat analysis of Raw Pepp being formulated or any item being formulated and enter data into computer. Analysis of any leftover samples from first shift and enter data into computer Weekly Calibration of hand held thermometers for night shift. Log any findings. In charge of thermometer exchange for shift personnel. Room Cooler and Freezer Temp check for your area. Done 2x a day SSOP checks document done twice per shift Line Checks done at a minimum of 4x per shift. Check product specification against product that is being made at time of checks. Check paperwork on the line for accuracy Product quality checks Product shape Product placement on racks Stuffing diameter and appearance of any stuffed product Monthly checks of Glass and brittle plastic locker checks. Daily or weekly calibration of FOSS Machine Ph meter Water hardness ice machine. Perform pre operation inspections after an allergen change over wash down. Might on occasion have to oversee both sides in Raw and RTE. Including the following Metal detector checks line checks temperature checks CCP verifications proper documentation collection of COA samples Any other duties assigned by QA Manager.
