We are serving classic Japanese sushi with a modern twist. We are very famous and popular Japanese restaurant in Burnaby BC. Now we are looking for the experienced cook who are willing to join our lovely team members Employer Gaya Holdings Ltd.(o a Gaya Sushi)Position Full time CookVacancy 2 Main Duties -Set up workstation with all needed ingredient and cooking equipment.-Have be familiar with Japanese cuisine such as nigiri maki tempura udon and sashimi.-Prepare and cook food according to recipes.-Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe sanitaryfood-handling practices.-Order or receive food supplies after selecting best qualities.-Have an solid understanding of different cuisines and food preparation methods.-Ensure all food meet food safe and quality standard.-Clean kitchen and work area.-May schedule and or train kitchen helpers. Qualification - Completion of secondary school is required.- 2 years of cooking experience is required.- Japanese style food cook experience may be considered.
