The successful candidate would be a part of an internal team that works on our projects using diverse visual techniques to help meet the company s strategic objectives. The details for the role would be as follows Job position Graphic DesignCompany name Geek EducationWorking location 4A-11460 Voyageur Way Richmond BC Canada V6X 3E1Term and type Permanent Full-time positionSalary 29 - 32 per hourWorking hours 35-40 hours per weekLanguage English Job duties Understand the requirements and prepare work by gathering information and materials. Plan and creates engaging visual content for our systems. Engages in all phases of creative projects from concept through execution and ensures projects are completed with high quality and on schedule. Develop design solutions across a range of our digital and print platforms including a wide range of graphics and layouts storytelling etc. to produce the desired visual effect for the audience our tutors students and parents. Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement size style Submit the work for approval and prepare finished the work using different techniques. Coordinate with other experts such as software developers web designers marketing etc. as necessary. Keep abreast of developments in design practice including new trends techniques and technologies. Design digital and print publications and other printed collateral such as whitepapers posters and signage and coordinate production with printers and other suppliers. Perform other related duties as required.
