What you ll be doing as a Swamper Be to work on time rested and ready to work at work station (warehouse truck yard) working Maintain and promote a positive and friendly attitude in the presence of customers peers and people in general while in work atmosphere and on the road Be able to perform all functions of packing unpacking padding loading unloading containers sea containers truck boxes trailers safely and in timely manner Take and follow direction from driver crew lead at residence in warehouse or wherever required to do so Able to kneel for extended periods of time walk on uneven surfaces climb ladders safely exit trailers truck boxes lift arms above shoulder full use of both hands repetitively Able to lift and or carry up to 50lbs without assistance and up to 100lbs or more with assistance Other duties as assigned from time to time Pay rate The pay rate for this job is 13.75 hour Available shifts Shift timing - All Available Job requirements Ability to read write and speak English well enough to communicate with internal and external customers Willing to work in a warehouse environment as required requested Candidate must be very physically fit to carry out repetitive pr2cedures. Help offload trailers Able to physically lift items up to 50 lbs.
