Position Third Cook (Permanent)Employer Mikischoice Enterprises Ltd. o a Miki s Breakfast & SushiWorking Address 1319 Shoppers Row Campbell River BC V9W 2C9 CanadaWage 20.00- 24.00 hr (to be negotiated) (Overtime pay to be paid at 1.5 regular wage after 8 hrs day and after 40 hrs week.Working Hours 40 hours wk (full-time)Benefits 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation feeVacancies 1 Job Duties - Prepare sushi sashimi and other Japanese dishes- Determine menu items determine size of food portions estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies - Inspect kitchens and uphold food safety high standards of sanitation and cleanliness- Manage supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation cooking and handling of food - Maintain inventory records and order of food supplies and equipment- Supervise and manage kitchen operations Qualification - Completion of College CEPEG or other non-university certificate or diploma program or equivalent experience- 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.- Ability to communicate in English is required.
