You can completely trust God and His word). Jeremiah 17 5 Thus saith the LORD Cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh his arm and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jeremiah 17 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD and whose hope the LORD is. James 1 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your souls. There is only the Bible the single source of power that will change our lives from the inside out. But it takes effort diligent everyday effort to know the God who controls everything. If we drink deeply of His Word and let it fill our minds and hearts the sovereignty of God will become clear to us and we will rejoice in it because we will know intimately and trust completely the God who controls all things for His perfect purpose. There is only one truth you can count on eternally and that is truth from God s Word. If someone says something is in the Bible verify it is true or false by checking it out in God s Word. This responsibility falls on each of us see 1 John 4 1.
