Custodian Crew Member Non-Exempt Full-time 19.41 per hour plus H& WThe primary responsibility of an Avartara Custodian is to ensure the cleanliness of our client sites with direction from their Shift Manager. Crew Members are responsible for cleaning interior spaces of assigned buildings removing debris and keeping areas neat and tidy.Job DutiesSweep and mop floors. Empty trash and remove debris that is on floors and not within a trash receptacle. Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment. Monitor building security and safety by ensuring doors are appropriately locked checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created and reporting any hazards to management. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces includes the mixing of various cleaning agents. Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners sponges and squeegees. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. Apply wax to coat floors and buff apply sealant as necessary. Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants includes disinfecting and scrubbing toilets showers and locker room areas. Move heavy equipment and furniture as needed to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas. Identify and report possible repairs.
