This individual will assist in the management of testing area equipment and perform associated maintenance and shop upkeep. The role will apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area. The Technician II will Independently evaluate select and adapt standard techniques procedures and criteria. The individual will acquire general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams and will work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects. Assists on other tasks such as preparation of project materials material testing drawings data entry & analysis and documentation. Maintain all testing equipment and instrumentation. Perform basic testing procedures and tasks per direction from Project Managers and Engineers Receives close supervision on unusual or difficult problems and general review of all aspects of work General lab upkeep Other duties as assigned Minimal travel required Available shifts Shift Timings -1st Shift (Day) Job requirements Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong chemical process science aptitude Technically Savvy with computers Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word Excel etc) Candidate may be required to perform manual labor and should be capable of lifting 50lbs Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.
