Company OverviewThe Humberview Group is currently looking for skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our business. The Automotive Service Technicians are responsible for vehicle diagnosis repair and maintenance. This role requires individuals who are analytical and who have strong attention to detail. Job Title Automotive Service TechnicianJob Location 1650 The Queensway Etobicoke ON M8Z 1X1 (5 vacancies)Terms of Employment Permanent Full-TimeAnticipated Start Date As soon as possibleSalary 25.00 per hourHours of Employment 44 hours per week Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview work orders and discuss work with Service Managers and Shop Foreman. Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose vehicle issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other testing devices. Perform vehicle repairs and conduct road tests using safe driving standards. Adjust repair or replace automotive parts and or automotive components including fuel systems brakes steering and suspension engine and drivetrain emission control and exhaust cooling and climate control and electrical components. Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer s performance standards and specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance service such as oil changes lubrications and tune-ups. Advise customers on work performed general vehicle condition and future repair requirements. Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner. QualificationsMinimum of 2 years hands-on work experience. Must have English proficiency. Must have completed secondary school. Ability to work well with a team.
