It is our aim to build housing that fits the dynamics of our environment. Now we are looking for an experienced framer-carpenter who wishes to work with us. Employer TRAV Construction Inc.Job Title Framer-carpenterJob Open 4Business Address 1868 Knox Terrace Abbotsford British Columbia V3G 2W3Job Location Various Locations Lower Mainland BCWage 29.00 35.00 hour(depending on the experience) and 4 % from gross income as vacation pay.Hour of Work 40 hours per week Start date of Employment A.S.A.P < Duties > -Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine speci cations and calculate requirements. -Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools. -Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweights steel and other materials. -Fit and install trim items such as doors stairs moulding and hardware.-Assist supervisors with structural design planning layout and installation. -Utilize woodworking machinery hand tools or power tools constructs or fixes furniture such as doors frames flooring and other wooden fittings found in structures.-Supervise other construction workers. < Requirements > - Completion of secondary school is required. - Three years or more of work experience as a framer-carpenter- Ability to read technical documents and drawings and follow blueprints.- Good communication skills.- Good understanding of basic math. < How to apply > By email at info.travconstruction(at)gmail.comPlease respond with resume by email with Framer-carpenter in the subject line.
