Atheism disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. Atheist a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods. (Think about it you can t be an atheist without God. If there was no God why would atheism be necessary Those that call themselves an atheist know there is a God but they choose to say they disbelieve and act upon that disbelief. Many try to replace God our creator with things such as the theory of evolution etc. They try to explain creation without a creator. One reason is that as soon as you admit that God our creator exists you must also admit you are accountable to Him. They don t want to be accountable to Him or anyone else). Agnostic a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God. (A fence sitter for sure perhaps too scared to make any kind of a decision no excuse). The KJV Bible speaks of atheists and agnostics. See the following verses Romans 1 21 Because that when they knew God they glorified him not as God neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Romans 1 22 Professing themselves to be wise they became fools Psalm 14 1 The fool hath said in his heart There is no God. They are corrupt they have done abominable works there is none that doeth good. John 3 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him. (I don t think you really want to be in this boat). Why do some not want to be held accountable for their deeds Read the following verses. John 3 19 And this is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. John 3 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light lest his deeds should be reproved. REPROVE v.t. L. reprobo re and probo to prove.1. To blame to censure.2. To charge with a fault to the face to chide to reprehend.3. To blame for with of as to reprove one of laziness.4. To convince of a fault or to make it manifest.
