IT Director - Akron Canton OH - JOB 22-00512Salary Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits. A medical device manufacturer located southwest of Akron is seeking an IT Director to join their fast-growing team. This company is in a semi-rural area with great schools a low cost of living and easy access to larger metropolitan areas. The IT Director will provide vision and leadership for designing developing and implementing IT initiatives that create value for the customer and or organization. The IT director is responsible for the strategy management execution and budgeting of all aspects of IT for the organization.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in business management computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ten (10) years working in the IT field is required Three (3) years experience as an IT Director or similar role is required. Experience in leading analysis implementation and evaluation of IT systems is required. Experience in IT budgeting and cost center management is required. Must have excellent leadership cross-functional collaboration and organization skills. Must have excellent communication skills. (written & verbal) Must have strong project management skills. Must have excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills. Must have an excellent understanding of computer systems security network and systems administration databases and data storage systems and telecommunications systems.
