Two years technical school in electricity and or completion of four year apprentice program 3. Valid Journeyman Electrician license required 4. Valid CO Driver s License required 5. More than three years and up to and including five years of experience in electricial repair preferred 6. Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities 7. Good past record of attendance and punctuality 8. Demonstrate ability to do heavy lifting from 25 to 50 pounds regularlyJob Goals Perform work required for the repair maintenance installation of electrical systems for building equipment and grounds. Must have Journey Electrician License.Essential Job Functions 1. Troubleshoot repair inspect and install electrical circuits and components according to NEC and state and local building codes including but not limited to power lighting signaling motors controls automation fire and security. 2. Input work order data and labor in to computer tracking system. 3. Recommend repair needs to potentially eliminate ongoing and future repairs. 4. Test electrical equipment including motors heaters and controls for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment and by observing functions. 5. Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding. 6. May assist other trades as needed. 7. Perform system programming and integration with burglar alarm fire alarm and camera systems. 8. Troubleshoot repair and maintain kitchen equipment small appliances electronic clocks bell receivers intercom systems and signal generators. 9. Coordinate installation with the site staff District security departments and various maintenance and operations trades. 10. Respond to emergency electrical calls such as power outage and failures. Evaluate situation and take proper corrective action. 11. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulation and testing. 12. Provide labor and material estimates for electrical needs for small remodel projects. 13. Ensure compliance with District security procedures. 14.
