I purchased these wonderful solid wood carved antique figurines from a Historic House Estate Sale whose owners were antique dealers for 70 years. This would have been created and sold as a souvenir in the mid-century Providence tourist industry. The workmanship in the wooden carving and the colored hand painting are masterful and intact. They are all similar in design and a few are signed and dated 1949 and Providence RI. (Many of the figures pictured in group picture have sold). This depicts Paul Revere as a Silversmith which was one of his occupations. This wonderful Paul Revere measures 6 tall X 4 wide X 3 deep.
