Mechanical Technician Mechanic - Canton Ohio - JOB 22-00395 Salary Range 15.00 - 20.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Canton Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire Mechanical Technician to rebuild mechanical machinery & gearboxes. REQUIREMENTSHigh School graduate tech school is a plus Jr. level a Mechanical Technician will receive disassemble clean and rebuild gearboxes shafts bearings & seals determine damage & assess reusability Prepare informational reports on condition. Reverse engineering skills. The ability to use measurement devices i.e. mics calipers etc. to develop accurate dimensional logs for internal elements. Ability to provide hand sketches of elements and reducer configuration. Assemble gearbox units. Install new bearings on shafts seals gaskets setting & measuring gears. Conduction of no-load test to ensure all units are properly assembled and perform to American Gear Manufacturers Association specification. Spray booth painting to return units as close as possible to original OEM appearance. Should have own basic tools Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
