Pit bull ( I believe ) needs a kind loving home.

Hi. This morning when I went to the park I noticed a puppy sitting at the top of some stairs. I did my usual walk around. When I circled back he was still there. That s how I knew he was alone. I spent time talking to him gently trying to get him to tell that I was a good person and not going to hurt him. I sat at the bottom of the steps and just kept talking to him until he came down little by little. When he got real close I put my head down on my shoulder as a sign of friendliness (in my mind). When I put my head down (like laying on my side on the step) he came and licked me and stiffed me all around. Once I felt he was ok with me I led him out the park to my house. I spoke with my landlord about keeping him. I m not allowed to keep him as (I think he s a pit) and only small breeds are allowed. I need to get him gone as soon as possible before the landlord returns ( for rent or some other reason). I was going to just take him back to the park but I don t feel right about that. Someone pleae help me It s a boy his nails need trimming he seems very shy timid. It seems as if he s not used to people or as if he wasen t taken out often. I have no idea how old he is but like I mentioned he s still a puppy. Heads up he needs a bath. He has a smell to him. Help My landlord said he can not stay. Please contact me before the 1st or I ll have no choice but to leave him in the park. If you re wondering why not call animal control it s because I saw a stray a while back around my area and I told them. They never came as I saw the dog the next day. Also bring a leash or harness as I do not have one. I ll be meeting you in west side park on 18th ave Newark. Please email.
