ASPHALT PAVING FOREMANMust be able to work independently and effectively Manages our paving crew on various projects Ensures safety of all personnel and equipment PRIMARY DUTIESAbility to pave according to DOT and commercial specifications Considerable knowledge on everything asphalt paving-related including but not limited to operating a paver operating a roller luting shoveling running screed and more. Ability to read plans (grade slope drainage etc.) Manage crew to perform installation of asphalt pavement. Coordinate trucks and material delivery (if necessary). Take a leadership role in safety functions including personal safety traffic control management and equipment. Ensure installation meets specifications including proper depth yield control and density. Customer contact when necessary. Will perform other job duties as assigned. QualificationsAt least 3 years minimum of Paving Foreman experience (preferred) Strong leadership skills Attention to details and time management skills Able to communicate clearly and effectively Knowledge of DOT OSHA EPA and CDL laws and procedures related to transportation.
