Sushi Kawa in Vernon BC is looking for a full-time cook. Job Position Cook Position Available 3 Language at Work EnglishTerm Full-Time (30-40 hours per week) Permanent Wage 17.00 per hour Benefit 4% of vacation fee Job Duties - Prepare all ingredients- Cook various types of Japanese dishes including sushi roll u-don tempura katsu-don donburi teriyaki and other menu - Monitor food stocks and kitchen supplies - Manage kitchen area and supervise kitchen helpers- Maintain kitchen and work area clean and sanitized- Training kitchen helpers if necessary- Manage orders for delivery in order and prepare it on time- Ensure to meet the full guideline of Covid-19Job Requirement - minimum 2 years of commercial cooking experience OR Completion of a 3 year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of college or other program in cooking- Japanese cooking experience is to be preferred- Completion of Secondary School- English is required How to Apply Email kawasushi.vernon(at)gmail.com Sushi Kawa3107 32 StVernon BC V1T 5M6
