No man to till the ground yet Wow Genesis 2 5 (KJV) And every plant of the field before it was in the earth and every herb of the field before it grew for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth (and there was [not] [a man] to till the ground). The words [a man] are singular. Mankind appears to be created and multiplying before Genesis 2 5. [See Genesis 1 26-31 them male and female are plural]. With all the life previously created God is stating that there still is [ not a man to till the ground ] to be a farmer. Please explain this verse to me. Many people say this man Adam [Genesis 2 7] was the first man on earth in more than one place [online articles books etc.]. But God says he was not formed yet. Do those other explanations contradict God s word I fully realize people are trying to understand these events and their exact timing. God s chronological order is what is important not a man s. I m sure this doesn t affect ones salvation either way.Genesis 2 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. The original Hebrew word formed is used [molded as clay] to describe the making of Adam. When man was formed he became a living creature. (In the Hebrew it is eth-ha-adham which refers to the particular person Adam not a generic form of mankind). The Ha-Adham [Adam] is the man that Christ will come forth through. Matthew 1 1-17 [Joseph s lineage] and Luke 3 23-38 [Mary and Jesus lineage] both give us our documentation that this is true and did come to pass. Paul states in I Corinthians 15 21-23 that sin came into the world by the first Adam but by the second Adam [Christ all shall be made alive. There was death by the first Adam and salvation by Christ Himself.Genesis 2 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof Does this mean that men of today are one rib short or just Adam Men of today have the same amount of rib bones as women do go figure. The word rib in the Hebrew text is Tsela and Strong s Dictionary numbers it 6763 from the prime root 6760 to curve . Could it have been the helix curve DNA Some day soon we will all know. Many speculate on what actually happened. However we read in scripture that Eve was formed after and from Adam this can t be refuted.Genesis 2 22 And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made He a woman and brought her unto the man. We know the man in this verse is Adam [singular as in verse 2 7]. Verse twenty two is part of verse twenty one. God set this woman apart from all other women living then that were created before her [Genesis 1 26-31]. It will be through this woman that the Christ child would come [be born] umbilical cord to umbilical cord. Is this part of God s plan Do you believe He has a plan The documentation connecting Eve [this woman] and the Christ child is given in (Luke 3 23-38). The only way your soul will obtain eternal life is through that Christ child and through His shed blood on the cross and our repentance and acceptance of Him. Thus she is called the (mother of all living). Some say God gave Eve the ability to produce offspring of all races. What do you think after careful study of the above scriptures especially Genesis 2 5 Genesis 2 23 And Adam said This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man. Verses about adding and taking away from His word Deuteronomy 4 2 Psalm 119 160 Proverbs 30 5-6 Galatians 1 6-12.Is it meant for us to add to or take away [speculate] on what these verses tell us Is it speculation to ask if He has a plan If not could it be something else like spiritual discernment and seed planting I m not telling you what to believe I m telling you what I believe please study and make up your own mind.I look forward to any and all replies please explain this verse [Genesis 2 5] to me using applicable scripture from the KJV Bible.
