The Cashier will scan the customer s selections ensure that prices and quantities are accurate accept payments issue receipts answer inquiries and provide helpful information to customers products promotions or item location. You will also respond to complaints process refunds or exchanges of items and maintain a clean workspace. To succeed as a Cashier you should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible attentive to customer needs and committed to providing excellent service. Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour Shift Timings - 2nd Shift (Evening) & 3rd Shift (Night) Responsibilities Handle cash and credit transactions with customers Ensure pricing is correct Issue change receipts refunds or tickets Redeem stamps and coupons Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change Resolve customer complaints guide them and provide relevant information Qualifications & Experience Previous experience handling money and working with a cashier Ability to read and understand instructions Ability to add substract multiply and divide easily and quickly Experience operating a cash register Proficient cashier and clerical skills Comfortable with cash handling Strong customer service skills Smart serve required
