Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Communicates effectively to both management and team members works closely with other departments resolving asset management issues. Promotes and provides outstanding customer support. Assists coworkers with troubleshooting issues. Issues tools and equipment to employees and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned utilizing asset management software. Assists with inventory of consumable parts welding equipment and safety equipment supplies utilizing asset management software. Conducts scheduled cycle-count inventory and maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Receives unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment. Marks and identifies tools and equipment installs unique asset management bar code labels onto tools. Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors. Repairs services and lubricates tools and equipment. Ensures the safety of equipment prior to use issue and returns. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. Qualifications Warehouse experience is preferred Communicates effectively through verbal and in written form Math skills Computer & clerical skills Understands and promotes teamwork Able to work weekends periodically Previous forklift training preferred Lifting up to 40 Lbs Background check required Drug screen required
