Our job is provide fast emergency response to mitigate the loss and provide you & your Insurance Company a scope of repairs. What happens after an emergency situation leaves a business or residence in need of repair Can you keep your calm when those in need are counting on you We are now hiring Restoration Technicians who are passionate about using their skills to improve our clients jobsites after a disaster has struck. The Restoration Technician will respond to emergency situations involving damage caused by water fire flood soot storm mold or trauma as well as other emergency situations in homes and businesses. The technician will be tasked with recording incidents assisting in the claims process and returning damaged areas to their previous status. We would love for you to apply at the link above. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 14.65 Hour - 24.45 Hour. Shift Timings - All Available. Responsibilities Include Performing restoration activities including demolition cleaning emergency flood service restorative drying fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization content cleaning pack-out and storage and other specialized cleaning Setting up site protection like the use of protective shoe covers and floor mats Performing activities including interior and exterior painting and finishing light repairs and cleaning as needed Cleaning and maintaining tools equipment and facilities Ensuring work is completed according to supervisor s specifications Clean & Sanitize structures affected by Fire Water Mold Sewer Back up and Asbestos Extract water from flooded properties Perform controlled demolition of wet building materials (drywall carpet ceilings cabinets) Set up drying equipment on site to reducing drying time and eliminate the risk of mold development On site-clean and content manipulation List and pack out of affected content Processing of content Answer property owners questions or concerns Daily communication with Crew Chiefs Project Manager and the Emergency Manager Support and participate in continuous improvement activities Qualifications Background Check Required Cleared Criminal Background Check Able To Clear A Criminal Background Check Valid Photo Identification Physical Proof of Social Insurance Number Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand kneel bend for extended periods of time Maintain a positive and professional attitude Work in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Provide excellent customer service Willing to work in dusty conditions Provide a clear Criminal Record Check Restoration or construction experience is an asset (not mandatory) Labourers familiar with commercial industrial demolition projects would be an asset.
