The Material Handler Persons Primary function is to safely and efficiently load unload trailers pallets. Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) and Weekends Responsibilities Primary Responsibility includes the accurate receiving picking storing counting and shipping of product to meet company and customer standards of service quality safety productivity. Follow all Health and Safety guidelines as laid out by Lineage Logistics ORS LTD Report any damages that have been caused by you or you have noticed while working. Lineage Logistics ORS Ltd expects you to pick at the very least two and a half (2.5) full routes on any 12 -hour shift. Larger routes as well as smaller routes will be taken into consideration Respect dates. It is imperative that we all pick from the oldest dates to respect rotation rules as outlined by Agropur. Accuracy. Lineage Logistics ORS LTD. Expects that you aim to be as accurate as possible. Moving forward loads will be audited. Any inaccuracies found within that audit will be addressed with the employee responsible. Sing off load sheets on every load. THis would include following the direction of the load sheet i.e. loading walkies and or cheese. General Housekeeping. It is everyones s job to pick up after themselves. Water levels in the batteries needs to be checked at least once per week. Punch in and out using the employee clocks every day. Aid in the maintenance of all pick lines Teamwork is a big deal and we all play a role in setting your co-workers up for success. If you notice that there isn t any product in the pick line it is expected that product is taken from overflow and pickline is filled Qualifications Must be able to lift 50lbs Unassisted Push Pull Bend Twist Walk Sit Follow all Covid Protocols as set out by Lineage Logistics Must be over the age of 18 Legally able to work in Canada Temp to Permanent
