Editor K 2 ELA needs strong technical mastery in PC& IS technologies including Continuous Process Control Editor K 2 ELA requires Familiarity with K2 Familiarity with content management systems to put content into digital systems. Basic spreadsheet word doc K2 ELA and Product development. Bachelor s degree in primary education English childhood development and or communications. Elementary classroom teaching experience is a plus. Experience working in a content or learning management system. Knowledge of copywriting and editing best-practices. A proven track record of completing projects with limited resources and working on a team. Background in elementary English-Language Arts instruction grades K-2 including experience with foundational skills and reading comprehension. Detailed application of information (metadata) in spreadsheets and content management systems in an all-digital environment. Participation in a highly engaged problem-solving collaborative work process. Editor K 2 ELA duties Complete lesson and assessment writing audio and video scripting image specification and or metadata tasks as directed by the Manager of Learning Experience Design. Works with a team of staff freelancers and vendors to develop engaging all-digital K-2 English-Language Arts lessons and assessments following a comprehensive scope and sequence within an ambitious publication schedule. Focuses on foundational skills including phonemes and syllables with possible extension into beginning reading comprehension.
