I during the last two years I have seen a large shift in companies in this industry using more technology and digital tools. I am looking for someone who will have three main roles in my organization Working with Alice s and our sister companies to modernize with the technology and digital tools that are out there Working with myself and my other staff to teach us and work with us in understanding how these new tools work. Build and maintain websites for all sister companies. While myself and my staff know our industries and are knowledgeable about the tools we currently use we are reluctant to use new tools without fully understanding them and are somewhat uncomfortable with change. We are looking for someone who not only understands the tools that exist out there but can work with us to determine what the right ones are and work with myself and my existing staff to understand why we are changing the systems we have in place and how the new systems will lead to improvements and what we need to do to become comfortable with them. Currently we do not have websites we use paper receipts across all the companies and only created an email in the last year. Working with us and teaching us how to use these new systems and why we need to use them is the key part of this job. Able to build websites with back-end functionality (Skip the dishes) Able to program Able to build websites that can make sales Knowledge of cyber security Understanding of different types of tools or ability to research different options that exist Knowledge of computer hardware and computer software Be able to explain IT issues to non-IT people Able to design material for websites is a positive but not a necessity Good communicator. Key Responsibilities Work with owner to assess current operation and determine which technology should be implemented at Alice s and other companies Create and maintain websites for Alice s and all other companies. Once technology identified work with owner and staff to explain software Teach owner and staff how to use technology Get and maintain physical computer systems if needed Ensure systems run and address issues that come up Work with managers at other organizations to ensure they are also updated Create documents of what you have done and why.
