Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer for our dynamic and constantly evolving client located in northern California near San Rafael California.Responsible for working with the sales team (pre-sales technical calls with customers assisting with project designs on-site visits post-sales technical support etc.) to help grow and build the business throughout the territory. A significant amount of travel to customer sites solo or with a Sales Manager is required.Must have ability to understand the company s technical products and how they are positioned in vertical markets and against competing technologies. Must be able to prepare and deliver technical proposals provide pre and post sales technical support participate in trade shows and conferences as required. Must have a technical aptitude in computer hardware and IP based networking. Must possess polished technical presentation skills in sales and training environments. Bi-lingual English Spanish is a plus but not required.Competitive salary plus commission and benefits package. Local candidates only. No relocation.
