The PeopleReady located at Princeton Minnesota 55371 is currently hiring a Metal Spinner Job Description In search of individuals with a team-player attitude to join our operations as a 5-Axis Laser Operator on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for producing machined parts by programming setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines maintaining quality and safety standards keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.Some entry level positions available. Note - Pay rate for this position is 16 Hour - 17.5 Hour Shift -1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) and3rd Shift (Night) Responsibilities Studying blueprints sketches drawings manuals specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces sequence of operations and setup requirements. Measure mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary. Slect align and secure holding fixtures cutting tools attachments accessories and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required. Calculate and set control to regulate machining factors such as speed feed coolant flow and depth and angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve input or edit computerized machined control media according to established guidelines and procedures. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required. Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools as necessary. Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Confer with engineers production personnel programmers or others to resolve machining problems. Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established procedures. Maintain a positive attitude with customers clients co-workers and management. Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement of all established procedures. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
