The PeopleReady located at Winnipeg Manitoba R3E 3H9 is currently hiring a Snow Removal Labour Job Description Working outdoors removing snow on sidewalks away from buildings out of commercial properties on a construction sites using a shovel or snow blowers.Snow Removal Labours will shovel snow into truck or open sewer from streets and other public thoroughfares. To remove snow aSnow Removal Labour may be tasked with chopping ice and packed snow using pick or ice-chopper to clear area around catch basins fire hydrants and street corners. Clearing snow may also include spreading salt or thawing chemicals onto roadway from rear of moving truck using a shovel. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 13 Hour- 24.45 Hour Shift Timing - All Available Responsibilities Include Effectively using a snow shovel or ice chopper Working outdoors in appropriate safety and protective equipment Qualifications Valid drivers license construction gear and warm attire for outdoor work construction experience is ideal but not required Strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to bend and twist Fully vaccinated is ideal construction
