Our client is looking for garbage & recycling pitchers for the spring & summer seasons. You will work on average 40 hours weekly. Willing to train. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Go with driver to collect and transport various waste streams to local Transfer stations Compost Facilities or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner Adhere to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company the MTO Ministry of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working. Garbage bags or cans can weigh up to 50 lbs. and need to be lifted from the ground up approximately 2 feet into the hopper You will be make multiple stops going from house to house collecting waste bins bags and putting into back of truck Qualifications You are highly productive and have excellent customer service You are a team player and get along well with others Polite and respectful to all you interact with your team and customers Ability to step up and down off the truck over the course of 8-10 hours daily. Ability to lift up to 44lb consistently Willing and able to work in any weather and dress accordingly
