The PeopleReady located at Chesapeake Virginia 23320 is currently hiring a General Labor Job Description PeopleReady ofSuffolk has an immediate opening forGeneral Labors in Chesapeake VA We need reliable and responsible workers to collect and load garbage onto the back of garbage trucks for route collection. This position is in need of a candidate who is able to do this task along with other general labor duties. Pay Rate for this Job is 12 Hour Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Include Help driver collect solid waste and transport it to the dump site and other general labor tasks as assigned. Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) gripping and lifting waist high containers without limitations. It is fast paced and some occasional bending will be required. Qualifications There is no minimal educational requirement but specialized training can help laborers advance Verifiable work history that shows professional skills and experience Strong work ethic Some assignments have additional screening requirements such as background checks and or drug tests
