Construction Accounting ClerkLocation Oklahoma City OKPls. apply online www.potawatomifs.com careersEmployment Class Full Time RegularSalary Range 35K- 40K annuallyPosition Summary Potawatomi Federal Solutions is seeking a qualified Construction Accounting Clerk who is responsible for the collection recording retrieval and analysis of information within and between company programs and software applications. The accounting clerk reads source documents verifies the accuracy of the information prepares reports and manages data storage and retrieval systems. This position reports to the Controller.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inputs construction software data (from CostPoint) into the construction accounting software program ProCore to bridge the gap between the two applications. Ensures the accuracy of information entered and as necessary communicates with team members to clarify or correct data Performs data entry and reviews accounts payable billing and accounts receivable including collection of receivables Demonstrates an interest in continual learning involving program enhancements and improvements assists others in learning the technical functions of available programs. Works on other projects as assigned by the Controller Education & Experience Requirements Two (2) years of college trade school or work experience preferably in construction accounting Must have data entry experience preferably with CostPoint or other accounting software and ProCore or other construction management software Proficiency in the following keyboarding skills word processing programs using the internet and Microsoft Office Suite software Must be detail-oriented and able to concentrate for long periods of time Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers Working Conditions Working Environment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee with or without reasonable accommodation to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to Sit for prolonged periods of time View computer monitors for extended periods Use hands and fingers Reach with hands and arms Some walking and standing required Ability to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds Most of the work is performed indoors Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than one-third (1 3) of the time Must be able to stand stoop kneel and bend Potawatomi Federal Solutions is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
